CRH are putting resources in too. They want a solution to help them into the future. Forming the JV still allows them to limit their exposure. In many ways a win win for them. I think they will only walk away if they really can't see HadrianX working in a construction setting.
If I was CRH I'd buy the whole operation patents and all, and have complete control over the application in the US market. Cheap!
