I feel sure that if TLG had been presented with any form of agreement with the Sami that would have meant no appeals were lodged over the past couple of years, TLG would have taken it. Its my understanding that TLG have bent over backwards to try to work with with these people, e.g. agreeing to mine for only 6 months a year. But here we are with having endured appeal after appeal, delay after delay, having burnt through cash to stay alive. I'd say give the Sami absolutely nothing, zip. They cant have it both ways, exhaust the legals, then get cash anyway. If TLG decided to give them compensation after all that TLG and shareholders have had to endure, id sell out.
