i sold my shares back in 06, and used ALL those funds to buy options, thought what a smart ares i was, watched the leverage work wonders, then came GFC, watched shares plummet and said during many painfull nights, when they bounce i will sell some and reduce my exposure.
Well i had that chance, but was so convinced by CL plans, talk of future on BRR in this multi billion industry, that this company was one to really make some decent returns.
The first real warning sign for me was very late, when the auditors qualified their report, the day that happen the shares plunged to 22,23c, and i thought whats the point is selling options for so little. still even at that price i could have bought a decent second hand car, to polish and return to glory !!! - and maybe make a profit !!
what a disaster, which im taking notes on, never to repeat, but least im hoping for decent capital losses to carry forward for quite some time.
