In my view of day trading nowadays, it's extremely difficult to come out unscathed when dealing with a top heavy daily bar within an intra-day scenario. It doesn't matter how fast and experienced, or even how honed one's TA abilities may be. Even if the eyes are glued to the monitor and the finger ready on the trigger. It's a high risk gamble in this sign of the times.

Glad it worked out for you though anyways.
