The question should be why would any executive want to get a second rig if its in IVZ's position? IVZ has had one leased rig standing idle for about a year and the company has limited funds. It would make sense to get another rig only if it the company had a string of wells to drill back to back and the money to do that drilling. Thats not where IVZ is at this stage. The strategy was to shoot 3D seismic, test the existing discovery then drill delineated it for preliminary monetization.
