Caromb /Bee jay - What we are dealing with here like Birdsnest and Peninsula is widespread alluvial gold in the streams and soils. Consequently when sampling you are bound to get tiny nuggets in both streams and soils giving a wide variation in results.
The metal detector boys will have a field day and if I was younger I would have had a 40E over that FMG ground ages ago because it was screaming a repeat of our other discoveries. George is using practical prospecting methods to delineate gold. Not like DXC did with endless ultra fine soil sampling where they would fall over nuggets and never get practical results. Thank heaven we now a lot of their ground too.
