Regulations are in place because the public has demanded it, that support for regulations is not going to go away and the company will need to act in compliance of those regulations, there is no two ways about it. So management, if they are, needs to stop 'playing chess' against someone who makes the rules, in this instance its foolish..it seems past, and possibly some present, leadership want to play a game of chess with the regulator and government.
