I don't believe it was a scam. I believe that it's real - ie cc is definitely real (rapid current change)

I also think that the Co2 readings are very real. I've never agreed that the two are linked as many think - they may be, they may be linked some other way.

But, the sheer rate of change in temperature rise, the reactions of nature to it etc - have made me think the whole debate is time wasting and irrelevant - because I just cannot see the planet sitting pat and doing nothing about this rate of change --

and IMO, when the planet gets upset enough to get off it's arse and do something about the annoyance ----------- we should be very afraid.

It seems to me that no matter what we do - eg if we waved a magic wand and stopped all carbon emissions today and stopped all the things that we are told are bad for the atmosphere ----------- IMO, the rise in temps will continue -- long enough for a major planetary response - indeed, it might be already going to happen, no matter what

and the point is, IMO - when it happens --------- no one will be in the least interested in emissions, what caused which or whose fault whatever is ----

I believe it will be an all out struggle for survival. There will be an enormous effort in engineering needed to manage climatic conditions and extreme weather.

The way I see it - people, communities, societies, governments - will be desperate, and they will do desperate things - and if it means burning more coal and making more steel and concrete - then it will be done - and, stuff the emissions.

It's like many communities in the Sahara ---- when the sand is pouring in through your windows, your doors, pushing the doors off hinges, filling gardens etc etc -

does it matter why it's come - does it matter if it's someone's fault or not -

the problem is - the sand, that's it.

Same as SLR - if it's on - if it's on because of flooding and glacial melt - which is happening greatly atm --------- then, if you have coastal cities - you are firmly in the shit

doesn't matter whose fault it is, doesn't matter if Co2 has had a part to play in it or not, doesn't matter if it's from high temperatures or not, doesn't matter if it's aliens dumping their urine tanks from outer space -

all that matters is that you might try to protect your city via sea walls - or you move your city --------------- that is all you can do

same deal cold - in the north when the AMOC etc stop ------------- doesn't matter why -

what matters is only - can you adapt to live in temps 10 or 20 or whatever degrees lower than you used to have ----------- or if not - you move, and - where to.

All of these things will effect every single human on earth. Including places that will be what one would think as good as immune from the changes - like possibly NQ type places

they will be effected in several ways ------- one way, will be mass migration. And if people think that they'll be able to resist it -------- I suggest reading history.

I also might suggest that they take a look at the boats crossing the English Channel atm - and see the sheer desperation and numbers and battles on the French beaches near Calais ----------------- they cannot stop the boats.

Australia has a remote coastline - if mass migration occurs and it wants to head for Australia - then, it's done. It's happening. No amount of chest beating and threats will stop it.
