I don't think china and the other countries currently building nuclear reactors are going to stop building or using them when wind and solar become economical.
Australia has always been a late developer with no vision.
Some countries do not have the wind a sun we have (especially the wind coming out of the politicians proverbials.)
There will always be a need for uranium, with an ever diminishing supply.
