Frankly it's nobody's business how or why he sells his shares. He complies to the rulings set by the ASX and any tax compliance obligations. There's no point asking why others didn't sell because everybody's circumstance is different. You have nothing to say when 4 others bought shares. Surely that would have tickled your fancy.
I'm pretty confident we all have owned shares that have either tanked or dropped massively. Nobody held a gun to your head and sit by and ride it to a point of despair. It's the individual who's responsible for knowing their get out point, if you failed to do so then accept it and learn from it then move on. I've sold out of a dog company at a 60% loss luckily before it went tits up.
