All the more reason to turn their attention to the gold! They are essentially already there. Even when they come out with the Li resource estimate in a few months, it's going to get a ho-hum response. We already know the Li is there (everyone does), we know it's decent, we know when things pick up it will re-appear on interested parties' radars.
I'm assuming unless there were closed door deals with CE about where monetary injections could be spent, thus we are free to use funds to target exploration anywhere.
I acknowledge these are tumultuous times, but also note we have a reasonable kitty $$. It might be prudent with the next announcement, even in passing, the team acknowledges changed conditions and prospective future directions.
The worst possible thing they could do, is feel they need to save face and burn cash trying to progress the Li to product simply to appease major holders. We know funding will be precarious in this climate, so instead focus exploring and building a portfolio of minerals/metals in locality. It's not just IO and Li in the ground around the Pilbara Craton.
