haha, most other countries had integral stimulus spending too, but it did not save them. Why not? Because our health has very little to do with stimulus spending, most of which was just wasted on rorts and for lining large building company executive pockets anyway. The main reason for our protection is the mining sector and in particular growth in China and India.
That's not to say stimulus spending wasn't necessary, it was. But how hard is it to spend $60bill+ without any thought. Most of us here could do it quite easily. It's how you use the money that counts. Bandaid solutions mean nothing for the longer term.
Labor have proved time and time again in just 3 years of reign that they not have the fiscal prowess or the management capabilities to successfully implement a major project. They are unproven. They have less than 3 years to prove themselves or they're out.
