Mark, I just watched the Diggers & Dealers interview you pointed to and you’re absolutely spot-on.

He says the following (and this was only 3 weeks prior to Ann), “it’s not that long to wait until we have final then profit after tax numbers for the full year and that’s what the board will base the dividend on” & “I think shareholders should be confident that there will be a good profit number”

Sonia, the interviewer herself, literally interrupts him when he’s explaining to suggest in a bullish tone “so there is a dividend”

I’m not sure how anyone could dispute the growth ambition being very realistic after listening to him there but it is, without doubt, utter nonsense and just implausible for anyone to have watched that and concluded there’ll highly likely be a hold on any dividend this year.

If you’re giving viewers one obvious impression only to then do the complete opposite, that conduct can’t be defined in any positive sense in my mere opinion.
