G'day Werley. Good to have you back. Just hope your posts don't bring back to life your many detractors. I missed the agm this year, and would like to hear from anyone who was there to give a brief summery of "question time" where JM has always been faily open and forthright.
I was actually over in Vietnam and can see why the Asia region is bringing such strong growth for ICP. It's all cash, very little Credit Cards, ATM everywhere. Majority of people are self employed ( actually that should be "don't have a job and do or sell/trade anything they can to make some cash")
Mega development going on in the cities (i went to HCMC, Da Nang and Hanoi) All tourist areas growing dramatically.
Lotte were constructing a huge tower and shopping precint in Hanoi. (noted JM statement about getting accsess to new markets with retailers like Lotte)
Majority of the machines i saw were dated NCR. I keep pondering the obvious success of Neo icp in the Asian regions, and ask myself
1. Why are the likes of Lotte/family mart etc buying from us? and not NCR
2. Surley ncr/diedold have the capability to match performance and price? Is Neoicp a threat to them?
3.The factory is at full production coping with just a handfull of customers, what are the plans for expansion should we gain a footprint in Vietnam, or parts of Indonesia/China?
4. Are we going to have to wait and wait till end Feb 2011 to see the sp spike once again? when confirmation of earnings comes through?
