There are plenty of little pockets of gas around Gippsland . As you point out there have been many onshore wells drilled in Gippsland over the last 50 years . Unfortunately none of it can be produced in commercial quantities. The drilling moratorium has been lifted for 3 years . Victoria has been short of gas for a decade and yet all these ' magical ' onshore reserves that hc trolls talk about haven't been developed .

That's because they don't exist .

Sorry mate but you are wrong, several was commercial, they wanted Bass strait offshore up and running, same thing happened in the west, Gas was found onshore at Onslow, but the Gov of the day wanted the NW shelf offshore to go ahead.
