Don't be deceived, that blurb is only one part of the truth (and not an completely accurate one either). While the points about the abuse of power whether in the name of religion or secularism or government, are valid they do not address anything meaningful on the topic outside of social observation. For those who know who they are, religion is no different from any other activity in life and a good place to make friends and even to grow, up to a point. The Bible itself issues huge warnings about being enslaved to both the 'world' and to religion, problem is that nobody reads it, including most Christians, especially those in the mainstream (there's that word again) large denominations. Be careful not to throw out baby Jesus with the religious bathwater like the secularists would have you do. Everybody wants you to be like them.
