Plus…..for every position I have ever held, there has had to be discussion, negotiation, justification, measurement and agreement for salaries, bonuses etc.
Australian boards just seem to pluck vast numbers out of the air & give it to themselves, in salaries, stipends, shares, junkets etc etc. There needs to be a much tighter system of explanation and a much wider system of approval before setting any rewards.
