Hasn't anyone got broker data for this company to share?
This sell off isn't just mum and dad investors being spooked imo. I think it's someone who may know or with experience, know what the IPO price will be for the NASDAQ. Or, some sly nominee account has prepared for this time over a few years to sell it down deliberately to gain a lower share price / IPO price or entry for the IPO to maximize profit or a position to take control further down the track.
This ain't just a case of oh it's going to list in the US so let's panic sell. No f*ing way.
Maybe dilution for the IPO is being factored into this share price now?
Investors who are going into the book build would know or have an idea what the IPO price will be. It wouldn't be empty. The company wouldn't be under prepared and have touted it around imo through a new broker in the US to fill the book build.
They may value it as they see fit to maximize a return upon IPO, too.
Not ideal for us in the mean time being valued at $200m although I think it's worth $1b (5x)
So imagine the return IPO investors will want and can justify investing into the IPO
