Here is the way I see it.......................

1. Since 1992 China sees Renewable Energy as the key to undermine western industrial policy.
2. China (with no elections) pursued this insight
3. China is now No1 (by a long way) already in Solar Panels, Batteries and EVS
4. Building access to critical renewable energy minerals (Nickel, Copper, Lithium and Cobalt)
5. China sees the West as polarized and pursuing short termed outcomes................I see only Mr Forrest with a longer term strategy
6. China sees Africa as the region in which it wants to exercise SOFT POWER.......France, UK, USA etc on the nose and Russia greatly weakened
7. The Belt & Road initiative is in operation since 2013.....with COVID interruption
8. The Chinese are using their own labour to build these projects
9. The Africans are tired of the West expecting them to back Ukraine
10. The Industrial revolution Mark 2 may very well be OUT OF AFRICA with a Chinese Engine
