I have read your garbage on hotcopper for a few years now, but your comment above, really demonstrates the condescending piece of Sh*t you really are. I can think of many examples of the great people who have built this country and defended it, I could list many examples of people far more worthy of oxygen than you, who worked extremely hard, or sacrificed plenty to develop this great nation.
I will mention two that come to mind, and wonder if you would have the guts to apply your above statement about them.
The soldiers who fought on the Kakoda Trail, when Paul Keating visited the Kakoda Trail, during his prime minister ship , he got out of a helicopter and knelt down and kissed the ground, that was his reverence, for your so called social trash.
Erwin Rommel,s respect for the rats of Tobrook was that he was supposedly asked, who would he engage if he was planning to invade Hell, his answer was, I would get the Australians to take it, and the New Zealanders to hold it.
There are many more examples of people (your so called social trash) who have put a lifetime of hard work into this country.
