My simple calcs have whc met coal covering costs/royalties and enough to pay the full bhp contingency payment. If they dont need to pay/or part pay the contingency, that is their cream left over at current prices.
I cant believe how many people are wetting themselves on HC. For 1 month of lower prices, the longterm investment thesis is being thrown out the window. I may be wrong but so will the be the japanese investors who spent AUD1.5bil protecting themselves from upcoming supply constraints
