These leaching results are underwhelming.
1. No acid strength noted, just type. It could be pH 2, pH 1, it could be 98% H2SO4. It most likely is closer to 98% H2SO4 than it is to pH 1, or they would tell you the acid strength.
2. REE extraction with H2SO4 only 50%. The headline number for REE extraction is with HCl. If you want to see what the market values rare earth clay projects proposing to use HCl, look no further than OD6, MRD, HRE and WC1. Hint: market caps of <$5m despite huge tonnages at 1500 ppm grade. HCl is not economic.
