The claims that solar and wind are the cheapest form of electricity, why do they need subsidies. Renewables still need firming and at the moment gas is the only viable option in Australia apart from a massive roll out of batteries and massive roll out of home solar production.

China the largest manufacturer of solar cells subsidises their production, then the state and federal governments subsidise the cost and installation, when China stops their subsidies, they will not be the cheapest form of power.

Our politicians can't be trusted with money, cost estimates and business cases as has be seen in Victoria.

Show me ONE chart where a renewable firm is making these insane SUBSIDISED profits.
