This war is a misguided tragedy for both sides aided and abetted by others
who dont have to cop a bullet or a shell. So, IMO , many who revel in the war's death and distruction
on this thread should have a good/hard look at themselves and ask why? Is it Schadenfreude?

Because like other wars, there will be a negotiated peace which ought have taken
place before the war thus avoiding the absurd death and destruction.

Do you really think that the orphans ex this war will look back at this war
in say 10 years and say that the loss of their family and inheritance was
worth it? IMO they won't think so.

You and putin can make demands of no NATO troops in Ukraine ....no NATO nukes ......but NOW , after putins aggression the requrement of Ukraine not joining NATO is a non starter ......or putins riodiculous idea oif Ukrainian demilitarisation leaving Ukraine defenceless and under russias power

Olceg always avoids the issue of post peace Ukrainian securioty being ensured when i raise it .

because what is non negotiable for Ukraine is the ASSURANCE of sovereignty , freedom and liberty and that assurance has nothing to do with a liars signature on a piece of paper but instead backed by some force instead .

if the absolute assurance .....not a promise .....isn't there .....better to fight on than sign a bad deal .....as was the case early on ......the onerous conditions russia tried to apply leaving Ukraine defenceless

putin has to want peace enough .....not a win under his terms ...he has to be ready to negotiate .....he isn't ....only demand !
