To be really open about this:

I wrote to the company seeking an update on A2/A3 remediation, Sherritt#1 availability, pad works, and new drill expectations (to use my words, I asked for "proof of life" from the company).

The company was very polite and prompt in responding: "We will get onto it! Expect an announcement this week".

I am - rightly or wrongly - interpreting that to mean that the "announcement" will address the matters raised in my email (not merely relate to the statutory disclosures they are required to make). I am reasonably confident that the guy who emailed me would be ok with me disclosing this, as it may calm everyone down a tad. Put another way, we need to chill out a little and wait for the company to provide an update.
