Selling into a mkt is one thing but you seemed to have missed the point about models and algos being required also.

Selling into the mkt involves the mkt actually testing, creating PoCs etc to then consider if that is a path for them. That sort of selling does not require them to buy a licence does it?

However, if during that above cycle which is not generally done in a year, the client decides it's a profitable Dev path to product then you would expect to see either licences or revenue form the likes of Megachips etc.

There is nothing say definitively no or yes as to whether someone like Apple (your example) has been reviewing neuromorphic in the past year or two is there?

You are basing your comments on the A18 which as you said, would've been designed some years ago so that example is redundant.

As I mentioned, each will have their own opinion and so be it. It is not my job to convince someone that my opinion is worth more than theirs.
