As for ZIP, while I’m still holding, obviously exceeded my expectations of a year ago which would have been 3X ($1.25-40) it obviously won’t repeat from here another 8X rebound it experienced from a year ago. In that sense, as ASX200 play, it’s safer now, as ZIP in September 2023 could’ve died—but I figured it probably wouldn’t and would consolidate (thanks, Bedge) which gave me the multiples I am enjoying and the profits for OPT.

OPT is headed in the right direction there are basically two binary events in the first half of 2025, bad news will determine if the trap door opens, sending the stock (and any options I hold) plunging into the abyss. Good news it’ll just be a matter of counting the billions in market cap. This time next year, it could easily be worth more than ZIP (70% chance, IMHO), or it could be worth less than a bucket of s*hit like many biotech stocks on ASX.

One thing I’ll give to the Hot Copper OPT threads vs. ZIP is that, while people disagree on facts or what they mean, at least there's not a group (like the 4 on ignore) endlessly posting the same tired BS 50 times a day, no matter how many times they’re corrected.

I'd also support a couple of changes to Hot Copper: no sock puppet accounts (must have a real validated mobile number, masked by a username) and throttling on threads, where nobody can post more than 5 times in 24 hours or 10 times on a particular stock. That would put a stop to the business model of the downramping influencers.
