and the 3GL also has the ability to chew through 3 times as much ammo with trigger happy troops going for as much force as possible due to being unable to accurately position on the target, thereby tripling the grenade budget
- i have no doubt the additional cost of increased grenade usage from being able to luanch three rounds in rapid succession has been a factor likely working against generally fielding this weapon
- war after all is a cost/benefit analysis/exercise too, and if the defense accountants say 'no' to the possible ballooning of grenade costs associated with 3GL usage, well 'no' can just end up meaning 'no' to the 3GL...
