You are absolutely spot on. This DV argument conveniently forgets about the Children. They are the most vulnerable. My piece of work who tried to play the abuse card in our marriage break up negotiations was quickly quashed when my solicitor asked for police reports! Because there was none! She threatened I would never see my kids again, however, that idea was quashed when I left and moved out very close to her. I was still able to take the boys to football training, cricket, etc.
