Pensana's latest RNS might have something to do with it, As we know China despises Japan and the thought that Honda may be getting involved with PRE must really piss them off.
We saw a similar action from the Chinese back in mid 2008 when the JOGMEC were thinking at financing Lynas,
However once the Finance package was sealed, China then quickly reversed their strategy until Mt Weld started producing.
