Why no one else is talking about this, especially in light of recent BPT/ITOCHU announcements is also beyond my understanding???

I'm sure it has been on people's radar. I've found very little incentive to discuss these matters here given how much negativity there has been around here lately. Seems many are more pre-occupied with share price than other bigger picture development.

The ITC/BPT transaction is very interesting - even more so given VPE has topped up their ITC stake to 20%. Very little has been discussed about shale gas potential in STX's cooper acreage. I vaguely recall an announcement citing that we have rights to all forms of resources, including UCG, CSG and Shale. Must try and dig that up. The implication of the Itochu deal is potentially enormous for STX CSG project in that it gives us another option to use our gas as LNG feedstock. Now we just have to prove up the gas :o)
