Logically you can not do anything to help the situation if you are not around anymore and it just makes it harder for others ,
Maybe discuss your issues with a help line or a GP or understanding family member or friend , at your first available opportunity and in the mean time not look at any media that gets you feeling negative
I get depressed sometimes to , and find exercise followed by a scone at a cafe helps to not feed the wrong wolf with sad thoughts .
As the cherokee say "which wolf will you feed? "
