    Hi catshares,
to explain my comment "Am i cynical? or has the SP dropped so the broking firm can buyback shares cheaper?", its just another conspiracy theory from an inexperienced trader/investor(myself),
Its possible the broking firm have or bought a few thousand ISS shares, then park them(or part thereof) on the sell side effectively forcing holders who actually want to genuinely sell to leapfrog that order & sell at a cheaper price.
    Do brokers do that?
Im just guessing that the broker gets a larger commission if they can get the shares(over 13M, they are looking to buy in this case) at the cheapest possible price??
Im happy to be informed by anyone who has any knowledge as to how these on-market share buy-backs are performed...

    cheers
    wg
