Tonkin, while I agree with Golden Spring that GDO is much more credible and has far superior management to NKP, I think the odour from the court case has had an impact on GDO's share price over the past few days.
In any case I appreciate your comment on the matter. I was considering buying NKP around 60 cents a few weeks ago, but when I rasied the court case issue, I was howled down by the NKP cheer leaders. Fortunately I didn't buy beacause I couldn't get any clarity. I think we can all benefit by hearing the potential negative side of any investment decision.
I guess NKP's management have been in a slightly difficult position. It may have been the case that community consultation in the past, was largely a perfunctory matter, and its difficult to know what benefit would have resulted by commenting while the court case was reaching a conclusion. However at this point it would probably be wise to get on the front foot with a clear strategy for dealing with what has obviously become a much more important consideration.
