Nuclear threat by Nuke balanced Nuke Powers was what prevented Nuclear war for over 70 years ..its called "The Cold War" and that has been resurrected with this war, IMO.
Diplomatic ambiguity is the soft tool in Geopolitics before the hard tools are employed. We see that in this war as we see the US attitude towards global situations such as the Taiwan issue etc.
When it come to Nukes, its better to threaten than use them and those who go for the latter are simply lemmings, IMO.
We all know that Nuke War is "MAD" and when madmen rule the asylum mad things can happen.
So the w]question is: "If a mad Putin orders a tactical strike on Kiev will the Kremlin scotch it or if not how will the US respond?
IMO we never want to get to that point because of self interest. Those who dont mind dying for a ridiculous ideology should get over there and man the trenches rather than cowardly pay lip service to this tragic war as if ir were a Video game!
