I did happen to pop into an auction on the way home today and watched an auctioneer absolutely slaughter his audience with a riduculously desperate pre-auction sales pitch. He babbled on for nearly 25 mins while the poor punters stood in the sun, i watched 3 couples lose patience and walk off before the bidding started!
The property was passed in on a vendor bid. It was a quality property and i was suprised they didn't get a sale. So important to choose the right auctioneer especially in a tough market.
