lol!!!
1/ ATL likely couldn’t give a stuff about the short-term gyrations in AGY share price. They are clearly after supply of product over the longer term. You and others assuming they are looking at how many percent - to umpteen significant digits - their investment has dropped at the current share price is laughable. Same goes for Toyota investing in ORE at what, $7.50 back in the day. They are CAPITALISING the company to help ENABLE the supply that they require, not trading pips off other random punters!!!! Simple.
2/ There are only about 3 months left in the year! One step at a time. The priority is to progress the pre-development engineering works for the expansion to construction-ready stage. Simple. Your wild speculation that perhaps “negotiations (with ATL) didn’t go well, or that the relationship no longer exists” is a weak attempt at FUD seeding.
3/ Again, there has always been NO guarantee that AGY succeeds, but ATL have done some level of DD, with an extended period of communications/dealings with the company, and have undoubtedly asked the tough questions wrt the plant issues and expansion requirements etc etc etc. Of course they have access to additional information that is not publicly available. Of course they have more insight into the plant issues and rectification works than have been released publicly. Contrary to what some here have claimed previously, this does not automatically constitute “insider trading”. They chose to capitalise the company to the tune of USD$5M, in a period where some were claiming that the company had made ZERO real progress in years etc etc etc.
The funniest part of the latest hater narrative is that if it were indeed just a case of having an awesome resource and a flashy DFS, and going down the “traditional” development route, then why didn’t companies like LPI or GLN secure finance easily (especially GLN with all their ex-SWM “experts” )….???
The current market environment is simply not sustainable, yet some are carrying on as though it is some sort of new normal. Hilarious!
Ps. Iirc you stated that AGY does not have the funds to complete commissioning….? A statement of fact or FUD..? Source?
