If you study the data you will see that in the past the CO2 has increased AFTER the temperature increased. Sorry about that.
The real point that I made was that the earth has natural climate cycles that have moved the temperature through a range of 20 degrees.
Our current warming is part of such a natural cycle and we are still 4 degrees away from the last peak 120,000 years ago.
You seem to be saying that as we are warmer now than 30 years ago, we are on a manmade upward trend.
I say that its a natural cycle of increased temperature as we have had in the past as demonstrated by your graph.
If you claim that our current temperature is too high, then you must have in mind a standard fixed temperature which you consider to be the so called normal for earth. without such a normal temperature, how can you judge when its high?
What is your take on the normal temperature for the earth and why?
The climate factor that we really ought to fear is the coming ice age. Dont worry about a bit of warmer temperature as we humans thrive in that.
You should be concerned about the coming ice age. that will be a real killer. our population will then be looking at how to really warm the earth and escape the devastation of the next ice age.
The graph shows that its coming relatively soon. Lets spend money on stopping the next iceage rather than concerning ourselves about great warm weather that we humans thrive on!
How well have humans done during any previous ice-age? Not that well I am afraid.
