OK, thank you PhantomGWW, I didn’t realize that the $500 min. was only for the first Buy of a company or fund, referred to as a ‘marketable parcel’, so I’ll modify what I say accordingly.
The question remains, why would a genuine shareholder want to trade 1 or a few shares every minute or so, or in the opening or closing auction, and pay brokerage on each trade? Here is an example that I happened to see just today, Mon. 16th, of orders in the market for just 1 share. Who are the traders and Brokers involved in this?
I started this thread so that other holders could see what is happening in the market, to see whether anyone could recognise manipulative trading, and also to see if anyone thought that everything is fine and above board. So far there is no good evidence either way, so I’ll keep posting the daily trades. I’ll keep querying trades less than $500, a ‘marketable parcel’, unless someone can suggest a more appropriate amount.
Regards to all.
