"If they have run an RFT they should know virtually immediately if they have permeability in the three zones tested. The RFT does not allow for much fluid sampling as the chambers are very small circa 20cc and are basically a one shot sample, however they should get a very good idea of permeability as soon as the test is completed. So hopefully they will release results of this test early next week. Generally if they have a mis-run or a seat failure it is a result of the low permeability of the interval tested, so lets hope we get a positive announcement regarding the RFT soon!"
Depends on the tool really. If it only takes pressure readings then yes the flowline volumes will be small.
Tools with sampling capability will have any where from 500ml - several gallon sample capacity.
Some tools that have packers acts as mini DST tools and in effective can pump out, producing the formation.
Not getting a seal could be indicative of washout / seal pad failure. I have rarely had a non seal due to low perm.
