Do you realise how shit those Anglo operations are compared to new hope operations? Met coal or thermal be damned. Those open pits are all 10+ strip and mostly low grade met for which there is a market surplus. The only thing Anglo had going for it was Grosvenor with is PMV coals, and that was a balls up from decades of incompetence in planning... hence the fires. Without Grosvenor, Anglo has an excess of low quality met and no one to sell it to at prices which cover its extraction...
