    Hi Ian,

    Gross numbers of course.
On a final note. WPL is partners in numerous fields so whilst it may be the big end of town they have minority holdings in numerous fields with smaller players.
If they are getting $2- AUD per cubic foot in 2004/5 ...... well.

The whole point is find a real player with real reserves either coal, uranium, gas or oil not some two bit mining company.

Any company with less than say 100 million barrels in reserves falls into that. Or 600 billion cubic feet of gas is a waste of time. And of those above my threshold one I would avoid ... and that leaves only very few.

    Hi ROd,

    Yep definitions

    LNG comes from gas.
LNG basically gas cooled down to form liquids for transport.

LNG be further processed or straight from gas to liquid
Process is called GTL which produces Deisel, naptha and some waxes.
I am talking gas and gas to LNG what they do after that I dont care.

GTL is a different process. Like talking the by products when you refine a barrel of crude oil. One barrel of crude at 159 litres produces 78 litres of petrol, av gas , LPG ect ect bituman.

LPG comes from crude oil when it is refined

LNG is from natural gas. Just liquified by cooling.

Oh and lastly, when you fill up your barbie at the servo it is LNG that is going in. Doesn't need some process before you can use it.

Taxis use LPG which is a by product of the crude oil refining process.

An exception is sydney buses .... they run on natural gas .... LNG.

Almost as confusing as the different measures ... BTU vs Pj ect ect

    Nite nite
