REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Silex Systems Limited (ACN 003 372 067) (ASX Code: SLX) (Silex) requests that an
immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange in respect of its
ordinary shares.
In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, we advise that:
(a) the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by Silex in relation to a
potential capital raising to be announced today;
(b) Silex requests that the trading halt remain in place until 10:00am (Sydney time) on
Wednesday, 8 December 2010 unless before that time Silex makes a further
announcement in relation to the capital raising; and
(c) Silex is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any
other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
