July 31: "Geomet has submitted an initial application for funding of a part of the project (called a "sub-project"), which initially included the preliminary mine portal area works" [...] "The total initial grant requested from the JTF has in turn been reduced from CZK 1.12 billion to CZK 0.8 billion (approximately EUR 31 million). The RSK meeting has recommended the sub-project for JTF support. The next step will be the final funding approval by the Ministry of Environment."
CRMA: Ann. 27 March: "As Europe's largest hard-rock lithium mining and processing project, the Cinovec Project is applying for and is expected to receive Strategic Project designation under the CRMA. The Project has already been granted Strategic Process status under the EU's Just Transition Fund."
Ann. 26 April: [...] "In the European Union’s Critical Raw Materials Act (“CRMA”) environment, the coming together of both the Cinovec project joint venture partners and the Czech Government in the decision-making process with regards of the selection of the Prunéřov site provide a very strong foundation for our upcoming application for Strategic Project status under the CRMA.”
Conclusion: To me it sounds deliberately vague as to whether the application was made. So I'm assuming no. If you were to confront KC with this, he might say that you want to wait for the geo results first and then apply for the second CRMA-round in Q1 2025.
