I haven't heard the Nephilim explanation of demons before.
Revelation 12:7-10 talks about a War in Heaven which is quite feasible.
Heaven is some higher state in outer space, perhaps a higher dimension that is unknown to us.

There are two interpretations of the War. One is that it's a future event and the other is that it's a past event.
Luke 10:18 implies that it's a past event.

What I think is important is, since they are superior to us technologically, why haven't they either befriended us or enslaved us? Why do they try to stay hidden and observe us from a distance? What do they want from us?
