For the umpteenth time, despite what SF2 said, Basket Value is not a metric of a mines worth.
The measures that every mining professional uses are: In-situ value and Recovered Value per ton of ore mined.
So for the above table ¬ the contained value in each of the ores per ton of ore mined are:-
VMM 76% x 1420ppm = 1,089gms MREO @ $30.06 = $32.44
MEI 73% x 1,015ppm = 740gms MREO @ US$23.77 = $17.61
IXR 34% x 213ppm = 74gms MREO @ US$37.43 = $2.71
Which is why every sane miner thinks that Makuuta is best left in the ground.
