Hi arya,

with the web iress platform i use to view live data it puts a P in the status column next to the share code.

When it goes into pre-open with watchlists that need refreshing you will notice the bid and sell values are usually out of sync with the last transaction/sale, plus there would be an R next to the share code denoting a news release which must be market sensitive to cause a pre-open.
