I have been a reader of Hot Copper for some time now, without having registered and posted. But now I’m finding it hard to wade through the garbage spewed forth by a former director and co-founder of the business,Grasshopper59, who is utterly intent on destroying the prospects of any returns to the shareholders. In fact, we (I hold a small parcel of shares) are fed up with being your collateral damage as you wage war on the business from which you retired voluntarily some years ago, after some further years of planning it yourself.
If your behaviour on this public platform is anything to go by, the company must be very pleased to have been relieved of a significant risk all round, as you are certainly that to the current shareholders. It makes me hope that that the company does not take you back, as you’re not a fit and decent employee for any organisation. And it’s so surprising that you haven’t worked that out. You’re up there with Prince Harry! Dumping on the business and wanting to come back at the same time.
I am all for transparency, and open and honest debate. But this stuff you’re propagating is simply unhinged. And there is simply no dignity in behaving this way. What you are posting is toxic and is meant to harm people. It’s cyber-bullying wrapped up in the disguise of concern for the prospects of the shareholders and making sure they have “full disclosure.”Well, my advice to you is - leave the shareholders alone and let the business succeed without you. Because that’s also what this is about. It’s a ploy to damage it because you’re no longer part of it and cannot lay claim to any of the successes since you voluntarily left several years ago.
If there comes a day where you have something rational and insightful to say, then great… say it and we’ll listen and take note.In the meantime, let your anger go. Go for a run or dig some fence post holes and or get it out somehow. Just leave the shareholders alone. PLEASE.
