Some trading packages out there display order details (ie date/time/and position in queue).
When the last 3Y came out, there was a volume amount on the 3Y that appeared partially filled at 0.009. That order hada remaining balance that was at the front of the queue - hence given the very few trades at 0.009 on the day, it wasn't too hard to deduct that the balance of onscreen order was in fact the remaining directors sell order.
As I mentioned above depending on the trading package you use, you can see order details (ie date/time/position).
