I am no expert and I'd advise you to do your own research, but comparing JRVs potash results to other companies and the info on potash resources available on the web would indicate that their resource is of a very low grade. Typically these low grade resources would require some sort of large plant to improve the grade of the ore. This has two issues: (i) the plant cost money to run and hence any ore produced is not as profitable as the better resources; and (ii) building the plant usually requires large sums of money to be invested from a large business partner. JRV has a bad track record so far in getting large partners to invest in such plants.

Read the JRV announcements. Their style is to bombard the reader with lots of irrelevant technical details (i.e. drill cores encountered 1234ppm Si, 1342 pm Fe etc.) and to give few (if any) details about whether the resource is of a grade that is economical to mine etc.

My opinion: this is a stock that will only lose you money.
